SARAH PHILLIPS
PresidentSarah leads the Irish Creek Team and provides specific oversight of the General Construction and Construction Management Divisions, ensuring that the mission of finding the ideal Solutions through Construction always remains paramount throughout the Project lifecycle. She also develops and implements Marketing and Business Development initiatives and oversees Human Resources, Finance Operations and all other daily business operations of Irish Creek. Sarah graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Systems Management and re-joined Irish Creek in 2017, becoming President in 2022.Outside of work, Sarah is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys various outdoor activities with her two dogs, Jade and Sass, and volunteering time to community organizations such as the Salvation Army of Reading, the Berks County Building & Codes Association, the Emerging Leaders United and the Berks County Planning Commission.
DAVID PHILLIPS
Vice PresidentAs Vice President and the Founder of Irish Creek, Dave stays very involved in all company activities. He directly oversees the Excavating Division and provides support to the General Construction and Construction Management Divisions. While not working, Dave enjoys breeding and showing cutting horses, with his wife, Robin and serving his community on numerous boards including the Centre Township Land Protection Foundation, the Centre Township Municipal Authority, the Berks County Agriculture Board, and the Pennsylvania Cutting Horse Association Board of Directors.
Chris Kunkel
Operations ManagerChris joined Irish Creek in 2002 as a laborer, but quickly worked his way up in the field to an excellent Equipment Operator and Project Foreman. As Irish Creek grew, someone was needed to assist with in-field scheduling and project coordination. Chris easily filled that roll as Irish Creek’s Operations Manager. Chris does a awesome job of overseeing the scheduling and coordination of all Irish Creek’s projects, as well as running projects and equipment himself. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his two sons Dillon and Colton, supporting local volunteer Fire Company events and being an active member of the Mohrsville Church of the Brethren.
Ian Heckman
Project Manager/EstimatorIan is responsible for managing various projects, project estimates and General Construction Foreman oversight. He has over 30 years’ experience in the residential, commercial, public and industrial constriction field. He has worked in several roles from Carpenter, Forman, Superintendent, General Superintendent, Operations Manager, Estimator, Project Manager and Consultant giving him a solid understanding of the construction process. He has been involved with sustainable construction since the late 90’s and holds a LEED AP designation from the United States Green Building Council. He has also been on the Green Advantage International Board of Educators since 2019. Outside of work Ian enjoys various activities with his family such as running, backpacking, biking, kayaking and travel. “I love to see the architecture and construction methods around the globe.”
Patricia Jomarron
Project Manager/EstimatorPatricia is responsible for managing various projects and estimating future project opportunities. Prior to taking this role in 2023 she has been in the construction industry for the past 18 years. Patricia can tackle a project from start to finish with vast coordination, heavy attention to detail and outstanding customer communication. Outside of work, Patricia resides in Blandon, PA with her husband and three children. Together they enjoy volunteering in the community and watching the boys play baseball.

Jade
Director of Office Greetings and Lunch InspectorJade joined the Irish Creek Team in 2020 and takes her job of Director of Greetings and Lunch Inspector very seriously and will greet you upon entering our Office. If anything worth smelling is brought into the office, Jade will also stop by so that all employees know that she is willing to test out whatever is edible, only to make sure that it is safe for human consumption.
Sass
Director of Morale & GreeterSass joined the Irish Creek Team in 2023 and takes her job of Director of Morale very seriously, knowing that if her ball catching antics do not work to keep everyone’s mood light and joyful, her not-so subtle snoring during any meeting will likely succeed in soliciting a chuckle from everyone within earshot. She is also always up for pets and scratches whenever a momentary break from the computer is needed.
