Our team is currently looking for an experienced Shift Lead Mechanic to work in our Service Center to expand our customer base and hours of service.
Irish Creek is currently looking for an experienced 1st/2nd Shift Auto/Diesel Mechanic to join our current Automotive Service Center Team! The new team member will play an integral role in maintaining our level of commitment to safety and customer service with existing and additional clients. We are mainly focused on servicing Commercial Fleet Vehicles, and with the addition of this team member, we are hoping to grow our client list, our services offered, and especially our hours of service! The ideal candidate will begin working with Irish Creek on 1st shift, then transition to a later start on select days (example of hours on select days may be 10am – 6pm) and lead that shift. Responsibilities:
- Perform PA Inspections on all types of vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance on cars, trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Perform minor and major repairs on cars, trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
- Keep detailed inventory log and order parts as needed.
- Comply with state vehicle requirements.
- Proficient use of diagnostic tools to test vehicle components.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of each repair performed.
- Ensuring cleanliness of the shop.
- Communication and daily reports to Management.
- Possible Saturday Hours.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Inspection and Emissions license.
- Own and provide own tools.
- Valid PA driver’s license.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills
- Time sensitive and detailed oriented.
- Ability to thrive in fast paced environment.
- Strong work ethic
- Communication skills.
- Problem Solving skills.
